Penn Dental Medicine Giving Opportunities
Why Give? As a private, Ivy League institution, Penn Dental Medicine depends on philanthropy to move its mission forward. As an established Penn dentist giving back to support students who follow in your footsteps or a friend of Penn Dental Medicine giving to support the dreams of future generations, you are helping maintain our position as a world leader in dentistry.
Evans Building Centennial Renovation. The Evans Building Centennial Renaissance project is transforming Penn Dental Medicine’s historic Thomas Evans Building throughout. The iconic Evans Building has been home to Penn Dental Medicine for more than a century — February 2015 marked the 100th anniversary of its dedication. Following years of piecemeal updates, it is undergoing a $34-million reconstruction, which began in the fall of 2015 and will be completed by early 2017. This project will impact all four levels of this 133,304-square-foot building, preserving beloved architectural details, while converting teaching and clinical practices spaces to 21st century functionality.
Student Scholarships: Penn Dental Medicine strives to foster global leaders in oral health research, education, and clinical care―those who will rise to meet the challenges that preclude people the world over from receiving optimal oral health care. Scholarship funds enable Penn Dental Medicine to recruit the best and brightest students regardless of backgrounds, resulting in a diverse and talented student body poised to become leaders in all fields of dental medicine.
